The bleeding heart vine (Clerodendrum thomsoniae), also known as glory bower, bag flower, or tropical bleeding heart, is a captivating tropical climbing vine. Resembling the herbaceous perennial bleeding heart, this vine boasts glossy, dark-green, oval leaves. It stands out with big clusters of showy flowers that grace its vines. Unlike its namesake, the bleeding heart plant (Lamprocapnos spectabilis), the bleeding heart vine shares no other characteristics. The vine’s blooms come in various colors, including red, pink, yellow, white, and orange.
