Dendrobium moschatum is a type of orchid that is native to the Himalayas and Indochina. It is a large epiphyte that produces golden yellow flowers with a mix of brown. It releases a musky fragrance. Therefore, it is called the musky-smelling dendrobium. Dendrobium moschatum flowers are large, nearly 4 inches in diameter when fully expanded. In color, the flowers are in varying shades of pink, yellow, and creamy white. The interior of the lip is richly feathered and dark crimson.
The leaves of Dendrobium moschatum are small, narrow, approximately 10–15 × 1.5–3 cm, oblong to oval-lanceolate, and leathery. They are narrowly elliptic to oblong-ovate in shape and alternate along the upper part of the stem with a base that has clasping papery sheaths. In the dry season, the leaves turn purple and last for two years.
Dendrobium moschatum cutters come in 3 sizes: they are thick and 2 cm in height of aluminum sheet with beautiful designs. In addition, the sides of the petals can create universal leaves and tulip flowers, and the lips can create butterfly pea flowers too.
