Jasminum laurifolium, commonly called Angel Wing Jasmine or Star Jasmine, produces beautiful, sweetly fragrant, white star-shaped flowers with glossy green leaves, blooming from spring into summer and thriving as a vine or shrub in warm climates.
Flowers are white, star-shaped, often with pink buds, and very fragrant.
Foliage is glossy, dark green, and sometimes bronze-purple in cooler weather, and elliptic to lance-shaped, glossy, and leathery. Shape: Leaves are ovate (egg-shaped), elliptic, or lanceolate (lance-shaped). The species epithet “laurifolium” itself means laurel-leaved, in reference to their appearance. Their arrangement is opposite along the stem.
