Freesia

Freesia flowers are trumpet-shaped, funnel-shaped flowers that have six petals. There are three true petals and three matching sepals, which make them look like they have six petals, joined like a bell shape. Freesias are herbaceous plants that grow from a conical corm. They have a loose, one-sided spike of flowers with six petals, each with a slender, 6-branched style and three stamens. Freesia flowers can be single or double and come in many colors, including white, cream, yellow, orange, red, pink, mauve, lavender, and purple, with a sweet, airy, and fruity fragrance.
