Laceleaf, also known as Anthurium andraeanum, is a tropical houseplant with bright green leaves and a striking red, yellow, or pink “flower”. The leaves are spade-shaped and shiny, and the “flower” is actually a waxy, thick red leaf. Laceleaf is native to the tropical forests of Colombia and Ecuador, where it grows as an epiphyte, meaning it grows on other plants but is not parasitic on trees.
