Anthurium, also known as flamingo flower, tailflower, or laceleaf, is a genus of flowering plants that includes around 1,000 species. These plants are native to warmer areas of South America and the Caribbean, and can grow as epiphytes on other plants or terrestrially. They are the largest genus in the arum family, Araceae.
